This canal
and bridge are relics of the industrial revolution, 120 years
old and still strong. Bridges over the Tennant Canal built for
the transport of coal etc mined in the valleys to Swansea docks.
Near Jersey Marine village, Swansea. South Wales, UK. I think
the bridges are still in use.

Junction
42 of the M4 motorway, Exit to Swansea at Earlswood, I understand
that the bridges and excavation of junction 42 was second only
in size to the excavation of the Channel Tunnel and were constructed
about the same time.
