The
Glamorgan Heritage Coast. I found this small rock which had
been trapped and rolled around by the surf, The smooth surface
of the rock contrasted with the coarse texture of the barnacles.
It has worn a groove in the soft rock strata which appear
darker than the overlaying layer. The weather condidtons were
bad with very high winds, this picture is a testimony to a
solid tripod (Manfrotto 055c).

This is
an anti slip surface of a pedestrian walkway after a heavy rain
shower. The cloud that gave the rain cleared and the sun came
through causing the road surface to glisten with reflections.

A
badly corroded light switch in a derelict garage, the building
had been dissused for about two years and was in a bad way.
most of the lumination came through a window just two feet
above and behind the light switch which caused a great deal
of lens flare, careful shading with my hand solved the problem.

This is
Scwd Yr Eira Falls (The Snow Falls) in the southern Brecon
Beacons National Park, Wales, UK. It's a long walk through
waterfall country and then down a steep ravine to get to these
beautiful falls. Incidentaly, there was an RAF rescue helecopter
hovering overhead while I exposed the shot, the downdraught
seems not to have disturbed the water falling. Another testimony
to a solid tripod (Manfrotto 055c). Incidentaly, It was not
me that was being rescued!.

This is
part of the Glamorgan Heritage Coast path not far from Ogmore.
This beautiful coastal path will give you stunning sea views
in both directions, the strong prevailing winds blow off the
sea causing vegitation to grow at an angle as can be seen
behind the wall. The peculiar cloud pattern is the result
of RAF aricraft on excercise. Again photographed during high
winds.

The Saint
Baglan Church, built in the 1300's on instruction from St
Baglan himself, a charming tale exists of this instruction
which I unfortunately have no space for here. It's been unused
since about 1900 when a new church was built nearby.
